Collection: Janetta Kirkland

Janetta moved to Glasgow from Newcastle upon Tyne two years ago. She obtained a BA in Creative arts then attended various watercolour courses before selling her work from galleries around Newcastle. 

Janetta paints mainly in watercolour and her usual subject is floral. She enjoys trying different methods of painting in order to portray the beauty of the flowers and the joy experienced while painting. Janetta notes that her paintings are not painted in a botanical fashion but are more about the emotional response to the shapes and colours of the flowers.
