Chick McGeehan

Chick was a full time art teacher for thirty three years. He took up his first teaching post in St Andrew’s Academy Saltcoats and from there he was appointed principal teacher of art at Greenwood Academy Irvine. For many years Chick also taught evening classes for adults at Ardrossan further education centre as well as delivering drawing and painting courses at the Harbour Arts Centre Irvine. Chick also organised and delivered highly successful life drawing courses at the Glasgow Art Club and staged a successful exhibition of the work produced.
